Newcastle Grammar School works in partnership with parents/carers and families to deliver a truly holistic education. We use several tools and platforms to maintain our communication, relationships and connections with parents and carers.
Schoolbox Parent Portal
The Schoolbox Parent Portal is your window into your child’s education at Newcastle Grammar School. Through this Learning Management System, you can:
- View news and events from around the School.
- See what your child is learning and the work they must submit.
- Stay informed about co-curricular activities.
- Give permission for upcoming excursions.
- Receive parent and class communication.
- Access the School calendar, timetables, staff contacts.
- View all class materials and student submissions.
Access the Schoolbox Parent Portal through the link below or the Schoolbox button at the bottom of this website.
Find information such as academic reports, financial reports, your child’s attendance history and your personal details for updating through the Family Admin link through Schoolbox.
The NGS App
The NGS App is a quick and easy way to access your Schoolbox content from your smart phone. The application provides all the information on Schoolbox at your fingertips and also allows notifications to your device which can be completely customised to suit your preferences. For example, you can elect to receive a notification when new School News is posted. The App is available in both Apple and Android versions.
Parent Connect
Parent Connect is a secure online platform used for the updating of student medical information. It provides timely and accurate information to the School for excursions and incursions, trips, consent forms, incident reporting, online excursion payments and registration for myNGS Passport Co-curricular activities.
Parent Connect can be accessed through the NGS App.
Flexischools
Flexischools is Australia’s leading school ordering and payment system, providing cashless canteen orders for NGS families. Ordering through Flexischools allows students to collect orders in a fast-tracked line which minimises waiting time at the canteen to maximise time spent relaxing, having fun and engaging with their peers. Create a Flexischools account for a convenient and secure way to order and pay for school services.
Uniform Shop
The Newcastle Grammar School uniform unites the School as a community. It fosters teamwork and School spirit. It is also an outward sign of self-respect, develops self-regulation and allows our students to benefit from a positive image of our School in the wider community.
Noone is our official School uniform provider with an online shop and an on-campus uniform shop managed by fully trained senior staff.
Ordinary opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm during term. Extended trading hours are available during peak periods.
