Scholarships

Newcastle Grammar School offers the opportunity for outstanding students to apply for a number of scholarships in areas such as Academics, Creative Arts and Sport. Secondary Years scholarships take the form of partial remission of tuition fees and are available to Australian citizens and permanent residents. Scholarship places are reviewed each year.

In 2027, we are pleased to award the first Murray Wotton Scholarships to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who demonstrate a commitment to their academic studies and a commitment to the broader School community. (Scholarship value is up to 85% of NGS listed tuition fees – other fees may apply).

Current opportunities

Applications for the Year 7 2027 Murray Wotton Scholarship for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students are accepted until Tuesday 30 June 2026. Please complete the application form here.
