Newcastle Grammar School hosts many events during the year including reunions, community events, celebrations and performances.
The NGS community is made up of students, staff and parents, both present and past, to form a deeply connected network. Founders’ Day Celebrations

For long-standing members of the NGS alumni community, including the revered ‘CEGGS Old Girls’ and the gentlemen who attended Broughton School, the 2026 celebrations commence with the Founders’ Day Eucharist at Christ Church Cathedral followed by the traditional Founders’ Day Lunch at the Newcastle Club, where shared stories and good company will be at the heart of the afternoon
