The NGS community is made up of students, staff and parents, both present and past, to form a deeply connected network. Featuring guest speakers:
Judith Foggett is a Senior Lecturer in Special and Inclusive Education at the University of Newcastle, with over two decades of experience in behaviour management and professional learning for teachers.
Dr Krista Tomas is a researcher and educator whose work bridges neuroscience and classroom practice, focusing on how brain development and adverse childhood experiences shape adolescent behaviour.
Dr Nidhi Panicker has a special interest in paediatric haematology and is a strong advocate for preventive medicine, helping to promote healthy lifestyles for children. Dr Panicker enjoys working with a diverse range of patients and is skilled at helping families with medical, behavioural, and developmental concerns.

YEAR 11 BALL 2026

The 2026 Year 11 Ball will take place on Thursday 26 March at NEX – Newcastle Exhibition and Convention Centre, 309 King St Newcastle. The Year 11 Ball offers a wonderful opportunity for connection and the development of a strong sense of belonging as we welcome Year 11 students into the senior years of their schooling.
